In reply to Josh.Unfortunately they don't appear in that degree every year. 2013 and 2017 were great years for desert flowers. This year, pretty much only the Brittlebush and a few cactii.

Sounds like your spring this year is even worse than ours here in England. Rain, fog, drizzle, more rain, cold, wind, more rain, fog, more drizzle…. you get the picture. Everything is late coming to life, the garden is waterlogged. Ho hum. Hope it warms up there soon.
