It is, indeed. We completed the Alaska cruise I mentioned in the article on the Pearl and I need to write an updated post noting a small number of changes and discoveries we made while on the Pearl for another week.

Our first cruise was on a Carnival ship. Eastern Caribbean itinerary. It proved we like the concept of cruising. Our other cruises were on Norwegian Cruise Line. We like their more laid back approach to dining. Not sure where our next destination will be, but probably not this year. 🙂

The ship is much like the one you were on. We had one of the most enjoyable times we’ve ever had aboard this Cruise ship. Like you stated there is just about everything you could want while aboard. It’s something that I’ll never forget. See my Post on Kings Wharf. We got lost a number of times, until we finially figured out where to go and how to get there. Was a bit confusing, at times till we found our way around.

The Blue Lagoon restaurant provides an uncharacteristically simple menu for a cruise ship restaurant. The coffee bean carpet and the coffee wall both attract coffee aficionados with signs about their favorite beverages from around the world. However, the view of the ocean and the smell of hot, fresh coffee are the forces that drew us there most mornings on our two tours on the Pearl. You can read more about the Norwegian Pearl here. […]

The report noted these stories have “staying power”. Of the top three, the number one post, uploaded in July 2013, features images taken on the Norwegian Pearl. I suspect this article is popular as people looking to cruise on the Pearl find my post when they “Google” the ship name. You can read the post and view the gallery of images here. […]

You are welcome. Sorry for the tardy reply. I missed your comment earlier. Calm seas and fair skies, no matter where your destination!

When you are in Seattle you might want to stop by the Pike Place Fish Co. to get a photo of them tossing (yes, tossing) the large fish to one another across the counters. There are a number of YouTube videos that you can watch to get an idea of what goes on. Then, in Ketchikan where they have so much rain, it would be fun to get a photo of your wife beside the huge colorful ruler standing upright outside of the Visitor’s Center that shows the amount of rainfall to date.
