Our favorite sunset spot was the destination, but the sunset itself wasn’t as nice as the beautiful skies over the Gila Mountains south of the city. It looks like this road goes to nowhere, but it’s less than a mile to the I-10 and a large shopping area near our home here in Buckeye.
About the photo: Captured on my Samsung S7 cellphone at f/1.7, 1/150 sec., ISO-50. This road is very quiet, but my wife was watching in the opposite direction in case a vehicle happened to come along while I was concentrating on composing this image. Don’t put yourself in harms way just to grab a photo. The rule for Cellpic Sunday is simple. The image must be captured on a mobile device.

Glad you had a spotter, John. Lovely desert shot!
Same for shots on Railroad Tracks. So many photographers have lost their lives by putting themselves on a train track without someone on lookout.
That is a scary thought!
Y’all have such beautiful sunsets there! Good advice once I almost got hit by a pedal bike when I was trying to take a pic of some graffiti… Trains? That’s insane, trains are really effin’ loud, that’s amazing people get hit by trains taking pics.
There are many stories of fatalities from trains not being heard and some where there simply was no avenue for escape, e.g. on a trestle or some such.
