This week, Ben Huberman asks us to share a visual moment of serenity. He writes that “…this has been a particularly hectic, nonstop stretch of months… So this week, let’s take a deep breath.” You can read the entire challenge post here. I can get into this challenge and add an extra piece. My small gallery of serene images, like the image of lone fisherman returning by moonlight above, will be in black-and-white. I submit for your calm and collected review, a small gallery of images that represent some views of serenity and calm. In most browsers, you can click on an image to enlarge it and to scroll through the gallery.

The B & W enhances the sereness (if that is a word).
Thanks, I think so, also.
Love the serenity of these images, John. I especially like the one with the boat.
Thank you.
Nice choices John – love the B&W treatment.
Serene serenity… These images enjoy the B&W treatment. Subsequently I enjoy these photos. Agreed with the previous comment, my fave is the boat. Though the clouds opening up allowing the heavens to shine down in an ethereal glow is obviously not without its charm!
thanks! This was a fun challenge.
