This week, Ben Huberman asks us to “show the same thing – an object, place, or person – presented in several different ways. You can read the entire challenge post here. This challenge was easy. Lynn and I winter in a small house in a development that’s near some public desert land. It’s less than a two-mile drive to “leave the city” and be alone in the desert. It’s a great place to view Arizona’s magnificent sunsets.
This edge of the undeveloped desert is so close to our development, some of the shots here include rooflines of two-story family homes. Since discovering this spot in 2013, I have a large collection of sunset photos captured here. Around dinner time, when the clouds appear to present an interesting pattern, I head to my favorite spot just north of the I-10.
I’ve placed several images in a gallery for you. On most browsers, you can click on the image to enlarge it and get a closer view as well as being able to scroll through the gallery.

I agree John, the AZ sunsets are quite spectacular. Love the way you’ve highlighted the desert with their beauty
Thanks! Just got back from a cruise and a forced hiatus from full Internet access!
What a great view! So cool it’s close to your house!
