At the edge of town, a hotel and restaurant complex is located just off interstate highway I-10. The hotel is getting along just fine, however the restaurant built in 2008 is now closed. The restaurant building is constructed to look like an old-time country town. Unfortunately, it didn’t survive. I don’t know when it closed, but its attractive exterior reflects a vision of historic Benson.
About the photo: This image was captured on a Samsung S7 cellphone. For the techies, f/1.7 at 1/8500 sec. ISO-50. The rule for Cellpic Sunday is simple. The image must be captured and edited on a mobile device.
Note: due to an error in my production calendar, I inadvertently published an extra Cellpic Sunday today. Enjoy. (Oops!!)

Huh, crazy you’d think the hotel would keep the restaurant in business and vice versa…
We would certainly have selected this place to eat, had it been open. We ended up at a nice restaurant anyway, but we wouldn’t have had to drive anywhere.
Sorry for the late response. The WordPress spam filter triggered on your comment and I found it this morning in the spam bucket. First time I’ve ever had that happen to a comment that I knew wasn’t spam.
