Rollag, Minnesota.
The end of summer is traditionally marked by Labor Day weekend in the United States. Last year, for the first time, I attended WMSTR (The Western Minnesota Steam Thresher’s Reunion). As a reminder to people in our area looking for something to do this weekend for the holiday, I thought I would re-share some of the photos from last year’s reunion. It’s grown from a couple of families honoring the ways of their ancestors to a much larger event featuring steam engines (and engines of all types). The small gallery of images below are a few of my favorite pics. Click here to revisit my post about WMSTR from last year and to view the complete gallery of images I posted then. Click on an image below to enlarge it and to scroll through the gallery. Consider this my “Throwback Thursday” entry for the week.
