Fargo, North Dakota
The boys of summer are winding down their activities and, except for the league winners, are getting ready for the off-season. Last evening we went with friends to one of the games in the last homestand of our own Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks, one of the teams in the independent Northern League.
In this shot, the batter is on his way to first base after just hitting a single. He and five other Redhawks would cross the plate in this inning to go ahead of the opposing New Jersey Jackals, eventually to win the series finale 7-3. You can read more about our local minor league team here.
Of course, I am busy looking at the developing sunset wishing I was somewhere surrounded by beautiful landscapes with my Nikon capturing the golden hues.
The rule for Cellpic Sunday is simple. The photo must be captured and edited using a mobile device.
