Weekly Photo Challenge: The Sign Says

I didn’t need my limited high school Spanish to know what this sign warned me.

While sailing on Gatun Lake, in the Panama Canal, our cruise ship met a barge travelling in the opposite direction. The barge tug’s pilot kept their distance between the barge and the cruise ship.

    • I thought that as well. I tried to use a Spanish-English translator to translate the phrase underneath, found that the word “Polvorin” is Esperanto, not Spanish, and it translates to “Powder floating”
