I didn’t need my limited high school Spanish to know what this sign warned me.
While sailing on Gatun Lake, in the Panama Canal, our cruise ship met a barge travelling in the opposite direction. The barge tug’s pilot kept their distance between the barge and the cruise ship.
This is funny. It reminds me of when comedians are pretending to speak Spanish and they just put an O at the back of the English word. LOL
I thought that as well. I tried to use a Spanish-English translator to translate the phrase underneath, found that the word “Polvorin” is Esperanto, not Spanish, and it translates to “Powder floating”
