This week, Cheri Lucas Rowlands asks us to share “Mundane and meaningful”; “Beautiful everyday things.” You can read the entire challenge post here. For my opening challenge, I submit the colorful yet very ordinary vegetable display at a Seattle public market.
Just for fun, since I am traveling and don’t have access to my personal gallery, I am including a small gallery chosen from my previously viewed images here on WordPress. I hope you agree theses images meet the challenge of being (extra)ordinary.

I agree (extra) ordinary from ‘everyday things’. My favorite is the detail in the fruit stall in the market. The Seahawks poster and how expensive fruit and veg is in the States compared to my retirement home in the Philippines 🙂 I would need 10 x my pension income to live in Seattle 🙂
Seattle was expensive for us as well, being from the Midwest. That is one reason we didn’t say very long. 😀
I love the color of the market, but the last photo really grabs my attention. Have a great weekend, John.

Thanks. Enjoying the sights of San Diego this weekend. More on that soon.
Excellent responses to the challenge!
Lovely choices all John but I kind of like the vegetables best because they’re such a great example of (extra)ordinary!
Very colorful! Go Seahawks! Extraordinarily ordinary… Challenge well addressed as usual!
