Fort Bragg, California.
A few weeks ago, I featured a view of the Noyo Headlands Park on Scenic Highway 1 which winds north and south along the Pacific Coast. Only a few miles north of that park near Fort Bragg is Seaside Creek. The beach there is much larger than this segment that I chose for this week’s Cellpic Sunday. When I saw the house on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, I wondered what a beautiful view those residents have of the scenery in this beautiful area. For those who don’t live on that bluff, there are some nearby campgrounds that will at least be close to the beach.
About the photo: Captured with my Samsung S20U, I trimmed the image to crop out some extraneous stuff on the left in Adobe Lightroom. I made the rest of my usual adjustments for curves and in the Develop module. I then sent it off to Luminar Neo for final tweaks. Click on the image above to view it in 2K HD on my Flickr site.
I encourage fellow bloggers to create their own Cellpic Sunday posts. I never have a specific topic for this feature, and the only rules are that the photo must be captured with a cell phone, iPad, or another mobile device… If you have an image from a drone or even a dashcam, that’s acceptable as well. The second rule is to link your challenge response to this post or leave a comment here with a link to your post in the comment.

Beautiful location, John, not sure I’d want a house there tho!
Here’s mine:

A great place to holiday shown by a wonderful photo 🙂
Thanks, Brian!

Very poor Internet here on the cruise ship today. Your images didn’t finish loading. I’ll have to check them out when I get back home.
This part of the Cali coastline is always spectacular-looking, John. You capture the perfect feeling of this beach with the light, the colors, and the appearance of the perpetual wind in the trees, so iconic in this area. Here is mine this week, most are cell pics: https://secondwindleisure.com/2022/10/16/sunday-stills-life-is-made-up-of-fleeting-moments/

Your photo makes it so attractive, John, (which I know it is.) Mine is much different but also from California: https://sustainabilitea.wordpress.com/2022/10/16/smile/
A blessed Sunday,
janet
California is such a diverse environment.

What a fantastic place to live; although I’d be a bit worried about big storms 🤔
You and me both!

The beautiful view comes at the cost of a blustery wind it would seem! Great image, John. Rich in atmosphere.
Thanks! I understand what you are saying!

Hi John, I think I would like a house there! Maybe we could get a bunch of bloggers to go in together to buy one! Or maybe just to rent! Wouldn’t that be fun? Here’s my Cell Pick this week. https://alwayswrite.blog/2022/10/22/chocolate-coffee-just-through-the-door/
How about an AirBnB? >grin<
There you go. Let me know when we should join you guys. Are you in FL? I hope you missed the hurricane.
We don’t go to Florida until January. Currently, we are on a Mediterranean cruise, ending in Rome on Tuesday morning. Today’s stop is Barcelona.
How fun. We have friend who just took a cruise there. Barcelona, Sicilly, Piza, France, and I don’t remember where else. They come home tomorrow, so I’ll find out. One of the guys who came to our garage sale was telling me about getting severely discounted cruises, but you have to be available to go immediately. Costs like $200 for a cruise like you are taking or something fabulous. I’m probably off with my numbers, but I need to check it out. Have fun. I’m glad you weren’t in FL yet.
We are, at this point, going to be stuck in Rome. Our flight from Rome to Amsterdam was canceled and we haven’t been able to rebook. We planned a two-day stay anyway, so hoping we can get the issue sorted out before we have to extend our stay. 🙂
