Weekly Photo Challenge – Abandoned

I submit for your evaluation two examples of abandoned property taken yesterday and today in and near Carlsbad, New Mexico.

This weekend, my wife, Lynn, and I are visiting Carlsbad Caverns, NM. We spent several hours over 750 feet underground, and soon I will share a gallery of photos of the caverns with my blog readers.

The Pecos River flows through Carlsbad, New Mexico, however a 3-year drought has caused the abandonment of many water-based activities along the river.
