Though it is the oldest theater in Fargo, it continues to have a regular play bill. Classic movies, like Kon Tiki, showing when the photo was taken, foreign films, independent films and special events ensure a full year’s entertainment. The Fargo Theater is an icon in downtown Fargo. Built in 1926, the theater is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Many supporters have ensured the theater maintains its original charm and historic presence while looking toward the future.
