Taos, New Mexico.
On our way south toward Buckeye, we visited a shrine to a Saint in the Sufi religion. My interest in this building, known as a Dargah, is that one of the principal workmen on the project is my sister’s grandson. The project started in 2016 and, except for the landscaping, was finished a few weeks ago. More on this location and its background will be featured in an upcoming (February) Travel Tuesday.
About the photo: Captured on my Samsung S7 cell phone, it was a quick snap taken as we were leaving the site. As is often the case, I was using one of my “real cameras” for the shoot, but in deference to the Cellpic Sunday feature, I never fail to use my phone to take a few images. In most browsers, you can click on the image for a more detailed view. The rule for Cellpic Sunday is simple, the image must be captured on a mobile device.

That’s a cool lil’ building, I can’t wait to learn more!
The workmanship is excellent. Gorgeous redwood and stone.
