Last weekend I finished my first visit to the City of Baltimore for the annual Civil Air Patrol National Conference. One of the reasons I bought my small Sony RX-100 camera is so that I could take a very portable, yet high quality camera with me when I travel. Of course, I forgot to put it in my travel kit. Now, truth be told, I don’t have a whole lot of time for sightseeing and such during these conferences, but I can usually find some time in off hours to do a little nearby exploring. The time I spent gathering images for future sharing here are all of the Cellpic variety. I only had my cellphone and iPad for image capture, so the images I captured all qualify for featuring in future Cellpic Sunday posts.
About this photo: This lighthouse on stilts was originally located at Seven Foot Knoll welcoming mariners to the mouth of the Patapsco River. After it was decomissioned, it was moved to the south end of Pier 5 in the Inland Harbor area of Baltimore. It now belongs to a museum that includes four ships that can be toured for a small fee. You can climb the stairs to an upper level, but you cannot climb into the upper reaches of the lighthouse, unfortunately. The image was captured with my Samsung S6 cell phone and processed in Adobe Lightroom and Luminar Flex. The rule for Cellpic Sunday is simple. The image must be captured on a mobile device.

What a cool lighthouse and sorry you forgot the camera you wanted to have –
Thanks. Next time I will have to get a better memory… 🙂
hahah
Cool looking building! When we moved here we looked at one round house… We could’ve bought that one straight up but it didn’t have enough restrooms.
This one is the first lighthouse I’ve seen that wasn’t the typical “tower” design.
