This week I spent a working week in a nice place. Our Civil Air Patrol 2016 National Conference was held in the Opryland Hotel and Resort here in Nashville. The work is all but done, and in a short few minutes, I’ll be putting on my dress uniform to attend the closing banquet.
Opryland Resort is a beautiful setting with a large indoor garden and a canal that even has tour boats that take you around the canal. Yes, it’s that big. I didn’t get time to take advantage of the tour, but I did spend a bit of time capturing cellphone pics around the garden. In a future post, I will share some of those pics with you.
About the photo: The entire garden area is protected from the weather by a large glass-covered ceiling. This view features a short section of the canal, a glimpse of some of the guest rooms (white building toward the rear) and the outside brick walls of a restaurant and shopping area. The rule for cellpic Sunday is simple. The image must be captured and edited on a mobile device. This image was captured on a Samsung S7 cellphone and edited on an iPad.

What a beautiful indoor garden! Hopefully you had time for some Nashville Hot Chicken. Safe travels.
Missed the chicken… Have to remember it for next trip.
