Weekly Photo Challenge – Fresh

This week Jen H. challenges us to share something fresh. From her challenge post, “In the Northern Hemisphere, spring is beginning to slowly appear, and many of us whose creativity was dampened by the cold and drear of winter days are beginning to reawaken. The freshness of spring is a powerful catalyst to get shutterbugs outdoors and get shooting.” You can read the entire challenge post here. In the opening image of my submission this week, a stream of fresh mountain melt water moves swiftly downhill.

In the early morning, fresh at the start of a new day, ships await their time slot to enter Gatun Lake and begin their passage through the Panama Canal.

A new day awaits a fresh adventure at the Bosque del Apache near Socorro, New Mexico.

A gentle rain refreshes and nurtures this blossom.
