The Inner Harbor area is alive with tourists staying at the many nearby hotels and with city residents out looking for an evening on the town. There is much to do during the day including several museums, a planetarium, and the National Aquarium. At night the area comes alive with music venues. There are no shortages of places to eat, either. The beautifully restored power plant buildings are an attraction in themselves.
About the photo: From the upper level suites in the Marriott Riverfront Hotel, a westerly view from the 34th story window is impressive during the last vestiges of the “blue hour” just after sunset and especially just before the last light fades from the western sky.
