Weekly Photo Challenge – Minimalist

A lone climber challenges an ascent in the Garden of the Gods at Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This week we are challenged to share an image in minimalist fashion. From the challenge post, “Find an interesting texture, color, or silhouette. Maybe there is a story that you can tell with your minimalist photo.” To view the entire challenge post, click here. I submit for your minimal enjoyment, three images that represent my interpretation of a minimalist image.

    • That butterfly had a “thing” about that thistle. I took several shots on the way by the plant and when we returned on the trail over an hour later, that butterfly was still hanging around the thistle. I took several more shots. 🙂
