Jamestown, North Dakota.
Early on a Monday morning, a colleague of mine and I were on our way to Bismarck for a week-long skills development class. Along the way, we stopped at Jamestown to grab some coffee and a quick restroom break. When we came out of the station, I noticed a caravan of two classic antique vehicles being fueled. I don’t know the back story of the road trip they were on, but I overheard one of the drivers visiting with another interested bystander. The topic was speed of travel on their journey, the visitor commenting, “Do you average around 45 miles per hour?” The response from the driver, “In our dreams. More like 30!”

Haha kind of destroys the image of Capone era gangsters doing drive byes… Without automatic weapons they would’ve been fish in a barrel. Thompson sub-machine gun does it again. As with everything the tommy gun was originally designed for the army, but they cancelled their order and he had to sell ’em to someone… Mafia enters stage right.
