A regular stop on our travels between Arizona and North Dakota is at my sister’s house in New Mexico. This year was no exception. In her back yard, she has two ornamental crab apple trees and as luck would have it, the day we were there, they were in full bloom. Before long, I was outside in her back yard snapping some pictures with my cellphone camera.
About the photo: Knowing I am always looking for interesting subjects for Cellpic Sunday, I captured this image on my Samsung S7. I used the camera’s selective focus mode, picked a collection of blossoms to center in the image and then touched the screen display where I wanted the camera to focus. The resulting image looks almost 3D with the in focus flowers appearing to be well in front of the background area. This image is best viewed on a black background. On most browsers, you can click on the image to enlarge it for a closer look.

Very nicely captured, and you are right about the focus!
When I get a photo like this off my cellphone, it makes me wonder why I spent so much on my DSLR. >grin<
