I got an email recently reminding me that Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale is scheduled for January 14-22, 2017. Since coming to Arizona in the winter of 2011-2012, I haven’t missed a visit to the annual auto auction. Tickets have been ordered, and I am looking forward to seeing all of the great classic cars.Today I decided to review the many photos of classic cars I have captured there over the years. One of my favorite types of photo is a close-up of a small portion of the vehicle. Using some of the new photo editing tools I recently downloaded, I went to work adding a little extra to the images. The gallery of images included here are all edited in Lightroom and the “artistic” feel added by Google’s NIK tools. Click on an image to enlarge it and to scroll through the gallery.

Barrett-Jackson… The juxtaposition of form & function. Art on wheels.
I appreciate your choice to show only a portion of each iconic car. The processing is beautiful! I like Lightroom and have used it for quite a few years, but I have not tried the Nik software.
