Weekly Photo Challenge – Reflecting

An interesting coincidence, this week’s Photo Challenge corresponds directly with my weekly theme and daily posts on my other social media pages. This week, Nancy Thanki’s challenge is to “share a photo that captures something reflected back to you in a way that made you look at your surroundings differently.” You can read her entire challenge post at https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/reflecting/.

On a nice day and pleasant evening visiting Honky Tonk Row in Nashville, we were surprised by a sudden downpour. The street, wet with the heavy rain, brought new life and color to the street, though the usual throng of people walking the sidewalks disappeared into nearby joints for the duration of the shower. The gallery of images below features several of my favorite reflective images. No doubt regular readers have seen most, if not all, of these images before. There is something I like about reflections, and I enjoy sharing them. Click on an image to enlarge it and to scroll through the gallery.

  1. Reflecting upon these reflections. I’ve stood almost in that exact spot in Nashville, then I went for BBQ & live music it was fun. Great pics of reflections worthy of reflecting. 🙂

  2. Wonderful shot John – that’s what we call making lemonade out of lemons !! You certainly made the most out of the rainfall. The others are lovely as well but the colors of the rain shot are really special
