This week, Jen H. asks us to share a wish. Her visit to Japan acquainted her to the ema, a Shinto shrine upon which people can share their hopes and dreams. You can read the entire challenge post here. For my entry, I chose a clock tower inside the walled city of Cartagena. Having a very comfortable lifestyle in my retirement, at this stage in my life, my wish is for time. Time to travel, time to view more of this wonderful world and time to enjoy being around family and friends.
One of the precepts of Shinto is not to forget that the world is one great family. I wish for time and health to all my friends wherever you may travel.

Both of our wish, in the retired life, looks like similar – that is time. At this stage of life, I feel time is too short and require more time for my hobbies like travel and painting etc. 🙂 🙂
nice photo! #wpc
Oh boy JOHN, if only we could have more time just by wishing!! Love your post this week
Time. Ah, yes. And retirement is a good wish, too, one I’m glad you achieved.
