Cellpic Sunday – 25 October 2020

Quincy, Washington.

Near mile marker 139 on I-90 is a rest area and scenic view. Of course, I had to check it out on our #RoadTrip2020. That bridge in the distance carries traffic on I-90 over the Columbia River. The river is wide here as a nearby dam downstream has created Wanapum Lake.

There is actually another attraction at this site, the Wild Horse Monument (but I’m saving that for a future Cellpic Sunday). Anyway this rest stop is a two-for-one deal. Frankly, the most impressive sight is the view of the lake.

About the photo: Captured on my Samsung S20U, the overcast left a dull image at the camera’s setting of f/1.8, 1/1200 sec., ISO-16. As usual, the trip through Lightroom and Luminar 4 brought out the details in the foreground and those overcast skies. As I have often written, selecting the image will give you a better look in most browsers.
